Respite Care

Respite Care Services

Respite care breaks are an opportunity for carers to take a break, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is receiving the very best care.

we offer respite care to enable anybody caring for an elderly or ill person to take a much-deserved break. Respite care offers an existing care worker the opportunity to relax and recuperate before later resuming their care duties.

Respite care is often only for a short time, but can be for longer, as the situation requires. It is vital that carers take the time to care for themselves too!

Our Care Assistants’ duties can include personal care and dressing, domestic duties including light housework and laundry, and maintenance duties including shopping, food preparation, pension collection, etc. The care assistants will also assist with social duties including engaging with service users, enabling and motivating companionship and undertake monitoring duties such as medication and health related activities. Care assistants can escort service users on outings or to appointments.
